Getting Involved

There are many ways that you can be involved in your child’s education. Some parents like to volunteer at the school by participating in classroom activities, assisting with excursions or being an active member of our School Association.

Taking an active interest in your child’s day is a greatway to understand what’s happening at school and how your child is feeling socially and academically.

The School Association provides parents, staff, students and community members with a way to be involved in the school.  Our School Associations helps in a number of ways, by participating in the development of school policies, school improvement plans and the formulation of school objectives, priorities, strategic directions and values. When your child starts at New Norfolk High School, you are automatically a parent member of the School Association. The School Association Committee meets once ot twice a term, usually at 6.30pm in the Year 7 Building. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings. Check our school calendar for the date of the next meeting.
Of course, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school on 62 617800 to make a time to discuss with our teachers or senior staff.
